This past year, the Sioux Falls Public School District passed a bond issue that included the building of a new High School. This project is a part of that recently passed bond issue, Thomas Jefferson High School.
The new high school will be 330,000 square feet, which will include learning suites, athletic facilities, a performing arts center, a coffee bar, and new athletic and track fields. The new campus would have a more "modern" look with an open-atmosphere concept with more room for collaboration in five learning suites.
Journey Construction is excited to be partnering with the Sioux Falls School District, Architecture Incorporated, DLR Group, and their consultants throughout this process and we are looking forward to the completion of this great addition to Sioux Falls schools
Thomas Jefferson High School will be in northwest Sioux Falls, to the immediate east of Marion Road and west of Interstate 29, between Madison and Maple Streets. It will be close to Southeast Technical Institute.
