Columbus Community Hospital Wellness Center and MOB

Columbus Community Hospital MOB

This project is a 31,500 square foot addition to the Healthpark Partners Medical Office Building on the Columbus Community Hospital campus. Starting in January of 2014 earthwork, utilities, and foundations proceeded throughout winter allowing structural steel and underground mechanical and electrical activities to start immediately in spring.  The addition allows expanded services including: visiting physicians, outpatient surgery, and obstetrics/gynecology clinics.

Columbus Community Hospital Wellness Center

This Columbus Community Hospital campus project is 85,723 square feet and includes: four swimming and therapy pools, three gymnasiums, three aerobic studios, physical and occupational rehabilitation services, fitness center, and equipment, track, and support areas.  This facility has multiple construction systems including: precast concrete walls and roof structure, steel framing with masonry and metal cladding, and pre-engineered structure for the gymnasiums.

Journey Construction Professionals was chosen to provide Construction Management at Risk services for both projects. Working with Columbus Community Hospital, YMCA, and the TSP’s design team, the Journey Group team has provided preconstruction services including: project budgets, feasibility studies, value engineering, and Guaranteed Maximum Price.  Both projects have provided many opportunities for local craft persons, suppliers, and contractors to be involved.  Local team members are critical in making these projects successful.
