The Avera Dougherty Hospice House is a 23,000 square foot facility located on the Prince of Peace campus in Sioux Falls. This wood framed, sixteen bed facility has a unique design and peaceful, home like setting to bring comfort and peace of mind to patients and their loved ones. The facility also houses a large dining room, kitchen, four seasons sun porch, child play room, and a beautiful meditative garden. There is also a connecting link that connects the Hospice facility to the Prince of Peace facility.
Sioux Falls Construction worked with the Owner and Design Team to fast-track the project design process and phase the design packages so that the construction could commence only two months after the design process was underway. This allowed the construction project to start in February of 2007 and to be completed by November of 2007.
